SS Atlantic shipwreck in Terrence Bay

Mini village we saw in the (lifesize) village.

 

Mass grave behind the ropes downhill.

On top of the seawall that was built in 1981 to prevent the
SS Atlantic victims' mass grave from being washed away.

Site of original Anglican Church, burnt down in the 40s by lightening.
This was the church of Rev. Ancient who was the hero of the SS Atlantic rescue, such as it was.

Nice little beach just south.
