That's what I love to get in the mail: the Canada Council's annual Governor General Awards publication, the printing costs of which are greater than the entire operations budget of many organizations they send it to. I have to assume they think its funny, or can they really be that out-of-touch? Well, thanks for the gorgeous reminder of funding priorities.

I'd heard the name, Canada Free Press, but never looked it up. Its really pretty entertaining stuff - there's some content by rational people, but there's a lot of hysterical, childishly convoluted ranting from what you could call the "Right," but is really more reflective of the sad state of unreason that passes for thinking these days on all sides.
